After a Scourge observation satellite has suffered an unexplained loss of orbit and subsequent crash landing near an abandoned EAA military base, the PHR move in to control the region and secure the probe. The Scourge, who would normally have considered recovering a lone defective probe a low priority, scramble a fleet to repel them and shift forces into the area while they ponder what interest the PHR could have in it.
